Assumptions:

Not reading

  • Reader not in RADEA

  • Wrong backend

  • Reader connectivity

  • Reader or client not working

  • Bad antenna or device

  • Faulty tag


Not reporting correctly

  • Wrong configuration

  • Unknown tags/ products

  • UI filters

  • Tag was “removed”

  • Tag (EPC) filters in the configuration


Recommended Steps foNOT READING

  1. Check Reader LEDs . Fix antenna or cable if needed.

    • Reader connectivity issue

    • Bad antenna / device

  2. Question: Are all tags not reported or 1/several of them?

  3. Tell customers that you always need to wait

  4. Check RADEA UI if reader is added in the system

    • If reader exists in RADEA or not

    • If reader connects to a wrong backend

    • -> Go to Reader UI, “Find me” to find the correct reader. Then Reboot reader by power off and on.

  5. Try with a different tag

  6. Try with a different reader

  7. Check processlist

    • If reader client is working

  8. In Reader UI, check client Log

  9. In Reader UI, check RFID Demo to do readings and switch to another antenna if needed

  1. Check Configuration from RADEA.IO UI 

  2. RADEA.IO Asset Tracking table filters

    1. Switch on Unknown products

    2. Reset filters

    3. Filter “Show deleted items only” to check if tag was removed

  3. Check configuration EPC filter
